Operation Instruction for RTV Silicone Rubber:

RTV silicone rubber is white flowing liquid with general hardnessof 22-50A° After curing. If the customer wants to make largeproducts and large size molds, the mold should be made of siliconerubber with high hardness. On the contrary, if the mold with fineand precision patterns, it should be made of silicon with lowhardness. The amount of the curing agent depends on the actualrequirements of the customer. If molds requiring fast drying anddemould, more curing agent is needed; Contrarily, if moldsrequiring slower drying and demould, less curing agent isneeded.

(Note: Our company does not recommend you to add silicone oil. If aspecial soft silicon mold or fine detailed and complex patternsproducts are required, 5%-10% silicone oil can be added to softenthe mold for easy demould. )

General Description of RTV silicone rubber:

RTV silicon rubber and silicone rubber are general calledtwo-component room temperature vulcanization silicone rubber withexcellent fluidity and good operational performance. Add curingagent of 2%-3% at the room temperature, the silicone rubber isstill operational within 30 minutes, and in 2-3 hours, an elasticsilicon mold will be obtained with resistance to deformation,high-temperature, acid and alkali and expansion. The siliconerubber is mainly applicable to mold duplication of poly crafts,resin craftworks, lightings, candles, etc. And fabrication ofprecision molds.
